Jameson Black Barrel, Irving Farm Coffee, fresh whipped cream. Our recipe was perfected in the 1960’s at Jim Downey’s Steak House in the Theater District. Teddy worked at Downey’s for years. He and Maggie both worked at the Irish Pavilion at the New York World’s Fair in 1964, where Downey’s ran the concession. Millions of Irish Coffees were consumed in Flushing Meadows Corona Park that year.
